OUR STORY

Welcome to Paint Pals, a beloved family owned and operated business, where community comes together to celebrate the joy of art! We are Chris and Melissa, a dynamic duo with a shared passion for serving our community and creating a space where everyone can experience the magic of a fun and creative atmosphere. Chris brings his years of dedicated service as a retired Marine, having proudly served our nation for 22 years. His commitment to duty, discipline, and compassion has seamlessly transitioned into a new mission - to foster a warm and welcoming environment at Paint Pals, where individuals of all backgrounds can find solace and express themselves artistically. Melissa is a Special Education Teacher and a true advocate for inclusivity and embracing the unique abilities of each individual. Her experience and expertise have played a pivotal role in shaping Paint Pals into a haven that caters to all, including those with special needs. We are dedicated to providing a sensory-friendly and accommodating space, ensuring that everyone can partake in the creative process.

The journey with Paint Pals began with Melissa's Dad, who laid the foundation for our artistic adventure. For decades, his California Paint Pals location became a beloved hub for artists of all ages, fostering a community of creative souls who shared his enthusiasm. So much of our family time is painted with colorful memories of the Paint Pals studio, where our family discovered the magic of creativity. When Melissa's dad decided to retire his retail location, the spirit of Paint Pals was far from fading away. Instead, it found a new canvas. Melissa and Chris envisioned bringing the same joy, inspiration, and sense of community they had experienced in California to the heart of Oklahoma. This vision has fueled our desire to create a place where families, friends, colleagues, and neighbors can come together to nurture their artistic talents and forge lasting memories.

At Paint Pals, you'll find more than just an art studio. You'll discover a tight-knit community that values creativity, kindness, and camaraderie. Whether you're an experienced artist or simply trying your hand at painting for the first time, we welcome you with open arms.

We take immense pride in giving back to the community that has given us so much. As active participants in community events and initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact beyond the studio walls. Supporting local causes, encouraging creativity in schools, and promoting a sense of togetherness are all integral to our mission.
